 in Sydney -- global satellite provider INTELSAT is preparing the satellite system to carry the estimated 40,000 hours of television programming that will be beamed out of Australia during the two weeks.

INTELSAT will contribute eight of the eleven satellites that will be used in the system that will ensure that 4 billion people are able to watch the Olympic flame being lit.
