INTELLICALL ANNOUNCES INDONESIAN SHIPMENT STATUS, LICENSING AGREEMENT AND ADLER RESIGNATION

DALLAS, Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Intellicall, Inc. (NYSE: ICL) today announced that specifications and scheduled testing of the company's products in Indonesia had been delayed. "Developments in Indonesia have been occurring more slowly than earlier anticipated by the company, and the possibility exists that planned fourth-quarter shipments to Indonesia may not occur before early in 1994. Even though our shipment schedule has slipped," said William O. Hunt, chairman and CEO, "our overall prospects in Indonesia seem undiminished."
Intellicall also disclosed that it had entered into a licensing agreement with Value-Added Communications, Inc. ("VAC"). Under the agreement, the company was granted rights to use certain VAC technology, and the company received an undisclosed sum for granting VAC certain rights to use Intellicall technology.
In a third announcement, the company announced that B. Michael Adler has resigned his post as vice chairman of the board and as an employee of the company, effective Nov. 15, 1993. He will continue to serve as a director. William O. Hunt, chairman and CEO, stated that, "Adler has been a visionary leader in the pay telephone industry and we look forward to his continued counsel at the board level."

The company markets its advanced telecommunications technologies to private pay telephone and network operators, domestic local exchange carriers, international PTTs and interexchange and international network service providers.
