INS Achieves Top NSA INFOSEC Ratings Attains Level 4 on IA-CMM in Eight Categories.

This evaluation model, developed by the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA), validates the experience level of INS consultants and its methodology for delivering security assessment services. The NSA standards define nine process areas encompassing 35 specific best practices. INS scored 4.0 on eight areas: Provide Training, Coordinate with Customer Organizations, Specify Initial INFOSEC Needs, Assess Threats, Assess Vulnerabilities, Assess Impact, Assess INFOSEC Risk, and Provide Analysis and Results. Further, INS scored 3.81 on Manage INFOSEC Assurance Processes. To date, no other organization has scored above 3.14 in any area.
