An intuitive, easy-to-install tool that allows developers to establish an application's JDBC performance history over time, IronTrack SQL generates useful data comparisons over time that can pinpoint the cause of SQL performance delays.

The first product in IronGrid's new IronTrack product line, IronTrack SQL further extends the functionality of the company's IronEye product family, which allows developers to easily install tools that provide fast, efficient data analysis of performance metrics and to embed performance monitoring and problem detection into the build process. IronTrack SQL combines all the monitoring and testing features of IronEye SQL with the ability to compare and visualize an application's database usage and performance over time. IronGrid's first server-based product, IronTrack SQL - Server Edition leverages enhanced Ant task functionality to automate performance testing and problem detection throughout the build process. With the Server Edition, development teams can ensure that all code contributed to every build is automatically subjected to performance tests.

Designed for installation on a team's development server, the new tool allows automatic performance testing via unit test assertions, making it ideal for detecting if query performance has improved or degraded from a previous test. The Server Edition also simplifies management of team-based development by centralizing the performance testing function, and helps managers maintain better quality control over code in development.
