INPUT/OUTPUT NAMES BUZAN INTERNATIONAL SALES MANAGER - LATIN AMERICA

 STAFFORD, Texas, Oct. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Input/Output, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: IPOP) announced today that George E. Buzan has been named to the position of international sales manager, Latin America. In this position Buzan will report to George E. Shields, vice president - marketing and sales, and will be responsible for Input/Output's marketing and sales activities in Mexico, Central and South America.
 Prior to joining Input/Output, Buzan had been associated with Halliburton Geophysical Services (and the former Geophysical Service Inc.) since 1974, serving in various positions of increasing responsibility. Most recently, Buzan served as corporate marketing manager with responsibilities for Mexico and Latin America.
 Buzan received a Master of Business Administration degree from Pepperdine University in 1980 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Princeton University in 1972. He is a member of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists and Asociacion Mexicana de Geofisicos de Exploracion.
 Input/Output, Inc., headquartered in Stafford, has designed, manufactured and marketed seismic instruments worldwide for 25 years.
