The transaction is subject to the approval of the Australian Government. INPEX currently owns a 100% interest in WA-285-P through its subsidiary company, INPEX Browse, Ltd. The Block is located in the Browse Basin and has an area of 3,041 km2 and water depth of 90-340 meters. INPEX discovered the large Ichthys gascondensate field through a drilling campaign it carried out in WA-285-P during 2000-01.
