DESCRIBE YOUR BUSINESS: InnerMation creates interactive games and online content.

IS THIS YOUR FIRST BUSINESS? No. InnerMation evolved from HolyWood Media Inc.

WHY DID YOU START THIS BUSINESS? To take advantage of the emerging opportunities and technologies in online advergaming.

WHERE DID YOU GET THE IDEA? One of our partners in Oakland convinced us that we could produce high-quality games with minimal capital investment.

HOW LONG WAS IT FROM CONCEPT TO OPENING? About a year.

WHAT DID YOU DO DURING THAT TIME? Continued multimedia production services with HolyWood Media, including video, voice-over, graphic and animation. Also, Web design and development.

WHAT WERE YOUR STARTUP COSTS AND HOW DID YOU FINANCE THE BUSINESS? We took out an equity line of credit on our home. The actual costs were about $50,000.

WHO DID YOU RELY ON FOR ADVICE? Mostly business books, magazines and friends.

WHAT HADN'T YOU CONSIDERED BEFORE OPENING? How long it would take to get our demo demo - /de'moh/ 1. A demonstration of a product, often of an early version or prototype. A demo is a far more effective way of inducing bugs to manifest themselves than any number of test runs, especially when important people are watching.

2. demo version.

3.
 game completed.

WHAT IS YOUR EXPECTED REVENUE THIS YEAR? $200,000

WHAT GOALS DO YOU HAVE FOR THE COMPANY? We hope to produce content that gives our clients an extra advantage in gaining market share through utilizing high-quality, entertaining interactive experiences for their consumers. We would like to grow to employ a dozen or more, while servicing a couple dozen clients.
