INN VIEWS : ROMANTIC GETAWAYS STILL POSSIBLE.

Valentine's weekend is usually the busiest of the year for bed-and-breakfast innkeepers. Many are booked for months in advance, so finding a room at the inn on the most romantic weekend of the year can be difficult.

Surprisingly, a few options are available this year for romance-minded couples.

Pat Straube, owner of Orchard Hill Country Inn in Julian in the mountains north of San Diego San Diego (săn dēā`gō), city (1990 pop. 1,110,549), seat of San Diego co., S Calif., on San Diego Bay; inc. 1850. San Diego includes the unincorporated communities of La Jolla and Spring Valley. Coronado is across the bay. , says she still has a few rooms available on Feb. 14 and Feb. 16. And if you book her Sweetheart Special for two consecutive nights anytime in February, you can snuggle up together in a complimentary carriage ride, toast each other with champagne and gaze into each other's eyes over dinner.

Orchard Hill is a luxury inn with 22 rooms and suites in a lodge and collection of cottages. . The inn normally serves a four-course dinner to guests only on Wednesday and Saturday nights, but Straube will offer dinner on Valentine's night as well.

At Tres Palmas Palmas may refer to:
