ING makes $47m purchase.


ING Clarion A family of application development systems for Windows from SoftVelocity, Inc., Pompano Beach, FL (www.softvelocity.com). Clarion provides a comprehensive set of tools for development, including a screen builder, 4GL and application generator.  has acquired Shorebird Way in Silicon Valley for $47 million, it was announced. The property was purchased on behalf of ING Clarion's open-end core commingled fund Commingled Fund

A type of mutual fund consisting of assets from several accounts that are blended together. Sometimes called a "pooled fund."

Shorebird Way occupies approximately 153,000 square feet and is leased exclusively to Siemens Medical Solutions Siemens Medical Solutions (Siemens Med) is a supplier to the healthcare industry, and is headquartered in Erlangen, Germany. Its U.S. division, Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc., is a Delaware corporation, with headquarters in Malvern, Pennsylvania. , one of the world's largest suppliers to the healthcare industry. The one-and two-story buildings are well located in Shoreline Technology Park, and are in close proximity to the headquarters of Google.
