INFRASTRUCTURE to market Industry Pulse, a VLSI Research DataPacket.


IRVING, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 23, 1996--INFRASTRUCTURE, a leading electronic publisher of information on the semiconductor and semiconductor capital equipment industries announced today that it has reached an agreement with VLSI Research Inc of San Jose to market and re-sell Industry Pulse, a VLSI Research DataPacket.

Industry Pulse is a two page DataPacket or bulletin which provides a compilation of key industry statistics. The report provides a 9 to 12 month history of 40 key measures including bookings, billings, capital announcements, new Fabs and expansions, IC sales by device type and selected end-equipment and economic indices. Additionally, the report identifies "shoot-outs" of where new capital equipment business has been won by various suppliers, and also provides details of increases in Fab capacity worldwide. Industry Pulse will be distributed electronically via email in adobe Acrobat "PDF" file format to subscribers. Pricing, Packaging and Availability:

The first electronic distribution of Industry Pulse is the May issue which is available immediately. Annual subscriptions for individuals (12 issues) are priced at $150 or monthly issues may be purchased for $15. Site licenses for re-distribution are also available. When added to the regular INFRASTRUCTURE subscription, bundled pricing is available.
