Momentum Technologies was founded in 1996 and offers a wide range of laboratory and polymer distribution services for the North American market. MTi offers creative solutions to a variety of polymer and polymer-related needs throughout its own distribution network. MTi technically supports what it sells with its own technical staff and laboratory.

Through its distribution services, MTi strives to represent quality raw material suppliers of polymer-related materials in the North American market. MTi has taken on several new product lines, including Petroflex SBR, Huntsman Chemical's amorphous poly alpha olefins, used successfully in roofing asphalt and adhesive applications, and Komo Chemical's gum rosin tackifying resins for the North American adhesives market.

Wallace conform to international standards, testing properties such as hardness (IRHD and Shore scales), cure (including the new D15 moving die rheometer), compression, flex, resilience, plasticity, abrasion, density, low temperature resistance and specimen preparation equipment.

H.W. Wallace & Co., Ltd., was awarded the Millennium Product Status for the D 15 moving die rheometer. The D15 will enable rubber technologists worldwide to produce better specified, more competitive products for the global market. The compact instrument features a c-frame design for easy access to the platens for sample loading and cleaning. The platens are easily interchanged, allowing conformance to many international standards such as ASTM, ISO and JIS.

An LCD display on the front panel of the D15 moving die rheometer offers a step-by-step guide for easy start-up and operation. The platen gap is automatically checked and reset before each test. The innovative design allows serviceable parts to be quickly accessed from the front of the instrument, ensuring that servicing and calibration routines are simple and cost-effective to carry out.
