John M. Evans, president of Industrial Training Systems Corp., stated, "As a result of an improving economy and an expanded marketing campaign, the company's revenues increased more than $225,000 over the same quarter last year. The majority of this increase came from our standard product lines which have higher margins than our custom business.
"The company has several new products coming on stream in the third quarter which should make it possible for us to continue our revenue growth pattern. We also expect an increase in revenues from federal OSHA activity, in particular, the newly enacted Confined Space Entry and Rescue Standard. Cost-cutting measures over the past year also made a contribution to improved profitability."
