INDONESIA - Regional Processing.Pertamina PERTAMINA Perusahaan Pertambangan Minyak Dan Gas Bumi Negara is having 125,000 b/d of crude oils processed in Singapore and Malaysia. It has four separate deals with Singapore and Malaysian refiners: (1) Under a three-month contract effective from October 2000 and renewed to cover the first quarter of 2001, Shell's 440,000 b/d refinery is processing 50,000 b/d of Arabian Arabian having some relationship to Arabia, most conspicuously Arabian horses. Light crude which Singapore imports from Saudi Arabia Saudi Arabia (sä `dē ərā`bēə, sou`–, sô–), officially Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, kingdom (2005 est. pop. . (2) Under a
similar deal, ExxonMobil's 540,000 b/d refinery is processing
30,000 b/d of crude oils mostly imported from Iran. (3) Under a contract
with Singapore Refining refining, any of various processes for separating impurities from crude or semifinished materials. It includes the finer processes of metallurgy, the fractional distillation of petroleum into its commercial products, and the purifying of cane, beet, and maple sugar Corp. signed in early November 2000, SRC's
285,000 b/d refinery is processing 25,000 b/d of crude oils. (4) Under a
six-month contract signed with Petronas effective from Nov. 1, 2000, the
Malaysian company's refin-ing system is processing 20,000 b/d and
there is the option of renewing this deal for another six months.
Pertamina has been negotiating a processing deal with PTT (1) (Postal, Telegraph & Telephone) The governmental agency responsible for combined postal, telegraph and telephone services in many European countries.
