INDEPENDENCE DAY SHOW TO LIGHT UP CASTAIC.

Last year's Fourth of July Fourth of July, Independence Day, or July Fourth, U.S. holiday, commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. Celebration of it began during the American Revolution.  ``Pyro-Musical'' at Castaic Lake Castaic Lake is a lake on Castaic Creek formed by Castaic Dam, in northwestern Los Angeles County, California, near the town of Castaic. The 323,700 acre foot lake (399,000,000 m³) is the terminus of the West Branch of the California Aqueduct, though some comes from the 154 mi²  was so hot, they're doing it again.

A concert by The Wade Brothers will start at 5:30 p.m., with a fireworks fireworks: see pyrotechnics.

Gunpowder was used in fireworks by the Chinese as early as the 9th cent.  for the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta is producing the local display.

The program is sponsored by the Los Angeles County Parks and Recreation Department and The Friends of Castaic Lake.

Tickets are $15 a car in advance and $20 per car at the gate. Walk-ins pay $5 a person, with children 2 and under admitted free. No recreational vehicles will be allowed, and alcohol is prohibited.

The park area of the Castaic Lake Recreation Area, on the lower lake, will be open as usual during the daytime hours, but will close at 4:30 p.m. to allow the park to be cleared. Gates will reopen an hour later for the ``Pyro-Musical.''
