INCUMBENTS FACE SEVEN HOPEFULS GLENDALE SCHOOL CHALLENGERS LAY OUT THEIR PLANS FOR DISTRICT.

GLENDALE - Nine candidates are vying for three seats on the Glendale Unified School District The Glendale Unified School District is a school district based in Glendale, California, United States.

The school district serves the city of Glendale, portions of the city of La CaƱada and the unincorporated communities of Montrose and La Crescenta.
 board on April 5, offering solutions to the problems of declining enrollment and tight budgets.

Incumbents Greg Krikorian and Chuck Sambar sambar: see wapiti.  are facing seven challengers in the general election. The third vacancy is created by the retirement of board member Lina Harper.

The following are brief profiles on candidates who responded to a recent questionnaire. Challengers Hasmig Aslanian and Naira Khachatrian declined to respond.
