PROPERTY SOLD: The 125,000-square-foot Lurline Industrial Park in Chatsworth has been sold by Koll Cornerstone to Pacific Gulf Properties Inc. for nearly $7.6 million, officials said. The building is 95 percent occupied. The deal was brokered by Van Nuys-based Delphi Business Properties.

STATION SALE: Burbank-based Phoenix Media Group Ltd. has agreed to buy radio station KSWD-AM in Seward, Alaska Seward is a city in Kenai Peninsula Borough in the U.S. state of Alaska. According to 2005 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 3,016.[1]

It was named after William H.
, for about $150,000 from Glacier Communications Inc. KSWD is the only licensed commercial radio station operating in Seward and will be the first station owned by Phoenix.

 Co. has signed Alan Menken to an exclusive long-term agreement to compose movie songs and scores for movies. Menken has won eight Academy Awards and composed the songs and scores for six Disney animated features: ``The Little Mermaid,'' ``Beauty and the Beast Beauty and the Beast is a traditional fairy tale (type 425C -- search for a lost husband -- in the Aarne-Thompson classification). The first published version of the fairy tale was a meandering rendition by Madame Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve, published in ,'' ``Aladdin,'' ``Pocahontas,'' ``The Hunchback hunchback, abnormal outward curvature of the spine in the thoracic region.
