BROS Barnes and Richmond Operatic Society (London, UK) 
. signed a distribution deal with Woodland Hills-based Brilliant Digital Entertainment for launching 3-D animated films through the Internet on the Multipath Movie Channel, on Time Warner's Entertaindom Web site. The new channel will feature at least six different Multipath Movie series produced by Brilliant Digital, including ``Superman: The Menace of Metallo,'' and is slated to launch during the fourth quarter along with the start of Entertaindom.

TOY MONEY: Standard & Poor's said Tuesday it is considering lowering the debt rating of Mattel Inc. following the toy company's surprise warning that its earnings will fall sharply. If the rating is lowered by the major business information service, investors will view El Segundo-based Mattel bonds as riskier and will demand higher interest rates for lending the company money, increasing Mattel's expenses. Mattel, the world's largest toy maker, announced on Monday that it expects earnings per share of 30 cents to 40 cents in the third quarter. Wall Street analysts had expected 67 cents a share.
