NEW ORDER: Northrop Grumman Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) is an aerospace and defense conglomerate that is the result of the 1994 purchase of Grumman by Northrop. The company is the third largest defense contractor for the U.S.  Corp.'s Integrated Systems Sector said Friday that it had received an additional order valued at $5.2 million for replacement structural assemblies for U.S. Navy and Marine Corps F/A-18 Hornets The McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) F/A-18 Hornet is a modern all-weather carrier-capable strike fighter jet, designed to attack both ground and aerial targets. Designed in the 1970s for service with the U.S. Navy and U.S. , as well as a similar assembly for the Canadian Canadian (kənā`dēən), river, 906 mi (1,458 km) long, rising in NE New Mexico. and flowing E across N Texas and central Oklahoma into the Arkansas River in E Oklahoma.  air force. The contract follows an initial order for $4.4 million that Los Angeles-based Northrop Grumman received from the Navy last year for structural assemblies.
