DIANA SELLS SUBSIDIARY, CHANGES NAME: In a series of restructuring moves to strengthen its core business, Diana Corp., a Calabasas provider of telecommunications switching equipment, is selling its telecom distributor subsidiary, C&L Communications for $6.3 million to a group led by current management. Diana Corp. shareholders also approved a company name change Friday to Coyote Network Systems Inc. The company's core business unit, Sattel Communications, has been renamed Coyote Technologies as well.

BANK DECLARES STOCK SPLIT: Los Robles Robles is a common surname in the Spanish language meaning oaks, and may refer to:
  • Alfonso GarcĂ­a Robles (1911-1991), Mexican diplomat and politician
  • Aurora Robles (born 1980), Mexican fashion model
  • Charlie Robles (born 1943), Puerto Rican musician
 Bancorp, parent of Thousand Oaks-based Los Robles Bank, declared a two-for-one stock split for shareholders of record as of Dec. 5, 1997. The stock split wll be distributed Dec. 29, 1997. Los Robles stock closed at 24 on Friday.

DCC (1) (Direct Cable Connection) A Windows 95/98 feature that allows PCs to be cabled together for data transfer. DCC actually sets up a network connection between the two machines.  PICKS NEW CHAIRMAN: Chatsworth-based DCC Compact Classics has named Martin M. Cooper, president of Cooper Communications Inc., as chairman. DCC sells single-use camera systems, record albums and audio books.
