- Daily News TO THE HEARTLAND: Des Moines, Iowa-based AccessAir announced Tuesday a realigning of its flight schedule effective Oct. 31 for travelers who fly from the Midwest to Los Angeles. The airline also announced a 25 percent discount for same-day round-trip flights between LAX and the Midwest cities of Des Moines and Peoria and Moline, Ill.
