GOLF MERGER: Westlake Village-based Pacific Sports Holding Inc. said it has signed a letter of intent to buy Golf Holdings Inc. for an undisclosed sum. Both firms are sports retailers. Pacific's wholly owned subsidiary SouthBay Golf Inc. designs and distributes HEAD Golf equipment. Pacific said it will pay for Golf Holdings through stock. Shares of the company were unchanged Thursday at 75 cents. Only 400 of the company's 12.6 million shares traded hands.
