ATHLETICS: The Netherlands Antilles Olympic Committee has appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS; Tribunal Arbitral du Sport or TAS in French) is an arbitration body set up to settle disputes related to sports.  over the disqualification of Churandy Martina from the Olympic 200 metre final.

Martina came home in second, but had his silver medal taken away after he was disqualified by the IAAF IAAF

International Amateur Athletic Federation
 for running outside his lane. The race was won by Jamaica's Usain Bolt in a world record 19.30 seconds, while American Wallace Spearmon, who finished third, was also disqualified for running outside his lane.
