customers that the Kelvir-ASVID worm is spreading and causing
widespread infection of Windows machines. The Kelvir-ASVID
worm is propagating over Microsoft Office Communicator, MSN
Messenger and Windows Messenger clients to distribute
malicious messages, and has been detected on the MSN public IM

This worm sends one of the following messages to all the users
on the MSN/LCS buddy list of an infected user:

solutions are updated, the latest security patches have
been applied to all desktop systems, and that all
out-of-date IM clients have been blocked from accessing
the relevant IM networks. Organizations should also
leverage their current firewall security products to block
        unwanted peer-to-peer and chat technologies.
