IMC Global Inc. (At Closing People).

IMC Global Inc., Lake Forest, Ill., has hired Reid Porter as executive vice president and chief financial officer. He succeeds Bradford James, who is retiring. Porter comes to IMC Global with 25 years of broad financial and operating experience. Since 1998 he has served as vice president and partner of Hidden Creek Industries and chief financial officer of Heavy Duty Holdings, both of Minneapolis. Porter joined IMC Global as CFO in February 1998.
