ImageTag provides a fast and simple software system for managing paper digitally.

The first product lines to pass ImageTag's certification program, involving a battery of more than 100 separate tests, are the HP Digital Sender 9100C, Xerox Document Centre 265/55 digital copiers, and the Ricoh Aficio 220 multi-function digital imaging system.

Using common office devices, such as scanners, faxes, digital copiers or multi-function devices, the ImageTag paper management system allows companies to file and process paper documents without changing the way people work. The ImageTag system uses three steps to transform paper into digital files. First, a user enters document-filing instructions into the ImageTag software. Then the user attaches a bar coded Post-it eFlag to the first page of the document to link it to its filing instructions. When convenient, a stack of documents can be scanned into the system for automatic filing into a structured, secure Network File Cabinet. Unlike traditional document management systems, the ImageTag paper management system is readily accepted and implemented because it blends with the way people use paper and relies on existing office resources such as the newly certified capture appliances.
