She started gymnastics as a young child because her parents were both gymnastics coaches and she grew up playing in the gym. Karolyi said she hasn't set her lineup for the competition. The American women compete for the first time Sunday at 9 p.m. at the Pond and are expected to do well and perhaps medal.
