The IKON BusinessPro 650 joins the recently launched IKON CPP([R]) 650 in a line of 65-page per minute color systems developed with Konica Minolta. The EFI (Nasdaq:EFII) Fiery[R]-driven system combines powerful printing and finishing capabilities within a cost-effective, space-saving footprint, making it an ideal solution for the office environment, and builds on the success of the IKON BusinessPro(TM) 500c, a 50-page per minute color system designed for the office environment.

It offers a wide range of finishing features, including 200-page saddle-stitched and face-trimmed color booklets, folded output for mailers and inserts, and 100-sheet stapling for color presentations and reports. The IKON BusinessPro 650's many features and capabilities can also be enhanced with a variety of variable data printing software, enabling personalized, high impact materials.

The IKON BusinessPro 650 is driven by EFI's Fiery System 8e, the industry's first embedded print server to extend to the desktop, providing exceptional color, advanced capabilities and convenience while increasing productivity. The server includes the recently launched EFI Desktop SE (standard) and EFI Desktop Pro (optional), which are designed to allow users to instantly organize, manage, file and share all of their paper and digital documents at their desktop. Fiery System 8e features a Native Document Conversion feature that enables the printing of Microsoft[R] Word, Excel[R], and PowerPoint[R] documents through the email client without a printer driver. Driver-based imposition enables users to produce complete booklets and other documents from the desktop.

The IKON BusinessPro 650 includes the new Fiery Smart RIP technology, which drives up to 30 percent more pages on printing devices per time period in the most demanding office environments.
