IISG announces Wingz 2.1 and HyperScript Tools 1.1 for the MacOS.OVERLAND PARK, Kan.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 7, 1996--Investment Intelligence Systems Group (IISG IISG Internationaal Instituut voor Sociale Geschiedenis (Dutch: International Institute of Social History; Amsterdam, Netherlands) ) today announced the release of new, enhanced Macintosh versions of the Wingz graphical spreadsheet package and the analytical development environment, HyperScript Tools. This new release of Wingz, version 2.1 is the largest and most versatile graphical spreadsheet application available today. Wingz allows you to carry out the most sophisticated range of analytical and statistical procedures with a vast worksheet matrix and over 400 built-in functions. The product includes extensive computational capabilities and a comprehensive suite of charting tools which are ideal for financial, scientific and engineering applications. The functionality of Wingz spreadsheets can also be extended using the powerful, object-based scripting language, HyperScript. Power users will appreciate the option to scale up to HyperScript Tools for more sophisticated application development. HyperScript Tools is a multi-platform, visual programming environment which allows developers to create customized graphical applications for data analysis and presentation. The product is comprised of a suite of graphical development tools including screen and menu painters integrated with the powerful, English-like HyperScript(R) programming language.
