IISG Launches Wingz and Wingz Professional, Version 3.0.

LONDON, England and OVERLAND PARK, Kan.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- July 24, 1998--Investment Intelligence Systems Group (IISG) today announced the release of Wingz(R) and Wingz Professional, version 3.0. The upgrade includes Wingz, the graphical spreadsheet, Wingz Professional (formerly HyperScript Tools), the multi-platform analytical development environment, and the Wingz HyperSheet(R) Runtime deployment module.

This new version brings exciting enhancements to the powerful Wingz family of spreadsheet-based analytical application development tools. Engineered to deliver maximum versatility and performance for data collection and manipulation, version 3 of Wingz is ideally suited to handle complex and demanding tasks associated with dynamic information analysis. Features included in this latest release extend capacity and application development uses of the product. Capabilities also have been incorporated in order to improve overall application efficiency and allow more productive use of data. This flagship product is comprised of a suite of graphical development tools including screen and menu painters integrated with the powerful, English-like HyperScript(R) programming language. The HyperScript environment of Wingz Professional provides users with ideal components for developing sophisticated, data-driven EIS and DSS solutions to run on heterogeneous hardware and retrieve data from various external sources, such as SQL databases and real-time data feeds.

These applications can be deployed using the Wingz spreadsheet program or bundled with the HyperSheet Runtime module. Wingz' HyperSheets are completely portable across Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) Windows, Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) Macintosh and UNIX operating systems. Existing 2.x customers with a valid maintenance agreement can upgrade to the new version at a 75% discount. Version 2.x users without a current contract may purchase maintenance and receive the upgrade for a nominal fee. Wingz users with versions prior to 2.x who buy maintenance have the option to upgrade to 3.0 for a significant discount off the list price.
