IFS International Holdings Announces That NCI's Financial Services Software Now Supports Windows 2000.

TROY, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 8, 2000

IFS International Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq:IFSH IFSH Instituts für Friedensforschung und Sicherheitspolitik an der Universität Hamburg (German: Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy Studies) ) today announced that its subsidiary, Network Controls International, Inc. (NCI See Liberate. ), now provides Windows 2000 support across its PC and Web-based product line. These products include:

- NCI Business Centre(TM), a Web-based, server-centric retail delivery front and back office solution. It supports Windows 2000 on the client today with support for the Microsoft Back-office suite on track for later this year.

- NCI Universal Printer Driver(TM) Version 3.0. This printer device driver permits selected printers to transparently coexist in the same OS/2, Windows 95/98/NT/2000 branch network and to be hot-swapped during operation without turning off, or interfering with, PC workstation operation

- NCI ThinClient(TM) for Windows Version 1.01. An integral part of NCI's server-centric product strategy, NCI ThinClient offers banks a range of presentation alternatives that complement NCI 4700 Wizard applications.

- NCI ClientServer-Mgr(TM) Version 4.01 and 4.11. This client/server system software provides a simple-to-use, industry-standard API to effectively share common resources.

- NCI 4700 Wizard(TM)Version 3.21. This PC-based, client-server software runs IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries)  4700 applications on Windows NT (Windows New Technology) A 32-bit operating system from Microsoft for Intel x86 CPUs. NT is the core technology in Windows 2000 and Windows XP (see Windows). Available in separate client and server versions, it includes built-in networking and preemptive multitasking. , Windows 2000, DOS or OS/2 PC LAN (1) A network of IBM or IBM-compatible PCs.
