Business Editors/High Tech & Entertainment Writers

CARY, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 14, 2002

iEntertainment Network, (OTC BB: IENT) announces the introduction of a new WarBirds product, which adds many new features and functions for its Award Winning WarBirds' Internet Flying Simulation.

This new modular software system will be the basis for all of IENT's forthcoming Retail products including WarBirds III, Fighter Pilot Academy, Armored Assault, and Dawn of Aces III.

The new WarBirds system adds significant new features including roads and road systems, light shadows, new special effects systems, new and more realistic sounds for aircraft, vehicles, and other machinery, and a new ACM record tool that allows players and trainers to film, record, and playback significant happenings in the products. These features represent a significant improvement in the Internet game system that will be used to complete the Retail products that IENT expects to deliver for this year's Christmas retail season.

This new modular system design was developed to support WarBirds III, Fighter Pilot Academy. Fighter Pilot Academy is on schedule to master on August 19 and be on retail shelves by early September. Simon and Schuster Interactive is publishing this new product for IENT.

This new software system will also be the basis of Armored Assault, a new World War II Tank simulation IENT plans to publish internationally by November 1, 2002. IENT has made the decision to re-enter the retail video game publishing business with Armored Assault. This market represents $9 Billion in annual sales. The online portion of this market is expected to be a $2.5 Billion market by 2006 according to Jupiter Communications. IENT is well positioned with both award winning products and a Patent (No. 6,042,477 Minimizing Latency Technology) on managing Internet Latency in Multiplayer Internet Games.

For 2003, IENT intends to publish Dawn of Aces III, WarBirds Korea, and Shockforce at retail. IENT plans also to enter the online console publishing market in 2003.

WarBirds is a part of a series of Award Winning World War II simulations and has been named "Simulation of the year" since 1997. A more complete description of WarBirds III and all IENT's Internet subscription products can be found at
