 now offers its military qualified, field grade Hand Held Control Display Unit (HH-CDU) as a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) item. Originally designed for a Special Forces Manpack Global Positioning System Global Positioning System: see navigation satellite.

Precise satellite-based navigation and location system originally developed for U.S. military use.
, it has been successfully tested in ground mobile, marine and airborne situations. The unit meets or exceeds the widest range of rugged military requirements including MIL-STD-810 for shock, vibration, altitude, blowing rain, sand and dust, salt fog, explosive atmosphere, and immersion.
