IEC Adds Experienced Professionals to its Sales Force.

NEWARK, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 5, 2001

IEC Electronics Corp. (Nasdaq: IECE) today announced the addition of Michael Sementelli and Cindy Boyer-Malak to its Sales Team.

They join IEC with over a decade each of Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) sales experience.

Sementelli has been named Director of Northeast Sales. He will focus on new account development. Sementelli has over 12 years of new business development experience in the printed circuit board (PCB) and EMS industries, most recently as Director of Northeast Sales at MATCO Electronics, a contract manufacturer, with headquarters in Vestal, New York.

Boyer-Malak has been named Director of Midwest Sales. She will be responsible for new business development in the Midwestern and Central United States. Boyer-Malak has 18 years of sales and marketing experience in the electronics field. Prior to joining IEC, she was a Business Development Manager for Plexus and OEM Account Manager with Visiontek, both Midwest-based contract electronics manufacturers.
