IDway and HUMAX Enter into Licensing Agreement.

PARIS -- IDway, a leading provider of software solutions for Digital TV, announced today that it has licensed its MHP software to Humax, an international leader of digital set-top box manufacturing.

Under the agreement Humax will be able to implement the IDway MHP middleware, which is conforming today to the MHP 1.0.2 specification. The goal is to rapidly deploy interactive set-top boxes addressing especially the Digital Terrestrial markets such as Italy.

This deal is a sign of the fast adoption of the MHP interactive TV standard and its IDway's implementation. MHP is massively deployed in countries such as Italy, Finland, Germany and Korea, and is planned in markets such as Danemark or Spain.
