IDS will purchase from Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions a select portfolio of aeronautical products, intellectual property, and ongoing maintenance contracts, thereby strengthening the focus of the IDS Aeronautical Division. IDS has also entered into a consulting agreement with Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions that provides key personnel that were responsible for developing the acquired products to provide ongoing customer support, maintenance, and development services to global customers.

Intergraph will continue to distribute the products sold to IDS through Intergraph regional sales offices. In addition, Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions' worldwide subsidiaries will continue to distribute the products sold in their respective markets through distribution agreements with IDS.

The aeronautical products included in the agreement are:

Aeronautical Information Management System (AIMS) Monitor - Provides a system for planning and tracking changes to aeronautical data.

IDS will continue the maintenance, support, development, and evolution of its expanded aeronautical product line. From its creation in 1991, the Aeronautical Division of IDS has continually expanded its product and customer base in Italy and around the world. During the transitional phase, IDS personnel will work closely with its customers and Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions' staff to transfer the necessary technical information and related know-how of the products acquired.
