IDS Scheer Continues its Participation on Board of Directors of the Business Process Management Initiative for the Second Year in a Row.

IDS Scheer North America, the leading provider of business process excellence services and tools, today announced that Georg Simon, Managing Director of BPM, has been re-elected to the Business Process Management Initiative's (BPMI.org) Board of Directors. Board members are selected to provide BPMI with business and technical leadership as the organization provides open, royalty-free standards for the management of business processes.

BPMI.org is a non-profit corporation that empowers companies of all sizes, across all industries, to develop, operate and improve business processes that span multiple applications and business partners, behind the firewall and over the Internet. The Initiative's mission is to promote and develop the use of Business Process Management (BPM) through the establishment of standards for process design, deployment, execution, maintenance, and optimization.
