IDG ANNOUNCES COMPUTER PUBLICATION IN SLOVENIA; AGREEMENT ALLOWS FOR PUBLISHING IN ONE OF EASTERN EUROPE'S NEWEST COUNTRIES

 BOSTON, Jan. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Patrick J. McGovern, chairman and CEO of International Data Group (IDG), the world's largest supplier of information on information technology, announced today Monitor Magazine, the leading computer publication in Slovenia, has become a part of the IDG publication family. Slovenia, formerly the northwestern province of Yugoslavia, has become one of Eastern Europe's newest countries.
 Monitor Magazine has a paid circulation of 6,000 through subscriptions and newsstand sales. With ample full-color photos and graphics, Monitor is printed on heavy coated stock. It averages 84 pages per issue.
