IDC Ranks BroadVision First In The E-commerce Software Market.


BroadVision Inc. (Nasdaq: BVSN BVSN Broadvision, Inc. (stock abbreviation, AMEX) ), a worldwide supplier of personalized e-business applications, announced that the analyst firm International Data Corp. (IDC) has ranked BroadVision as the world's number one e-commerce software applications market leader. BroadVision's e-commerce software application revenue grew from $36 million in 1998 to $81 million in 1999, more than doubling in growth in 1999 software license revenues and market share for e-commerce applications.

IDC estimated that the worldwide e-commerce applications market reached $1.8 billion in revenue in 1999, up 305 percent from $444 million in 1998. Leading the worldwide e-commerce applications market, BroadVision outsold out·sold
