The agreement, valued at $4.2 million, involves the creation of a joint venture in Zurich, Switzerland, between the companies to develop and market communications services to the aviation industry. IDB said the transaction, which calls for the sale of 325,000 shares of stock at $13 a share, would cut its debt by $4 million.
