IDB COMMUNICATIONS AND UNITEL COMMUNICATIONS SIGN AGREEMENT FOR INTERNATIONAL TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICES

 NEW YORK, June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- IDB WORLDCOM, the private line and international long distance telephone unit of IDB Communications Group Inc. (NASDAQ: IDBX), announced today that the company has signed an International Telecommunications Services Agreement with Unitel Communications Inc. of Canada.
 Unitel is Canada's only national facilities-based carrier offering businesses and residential callers a variety of products and services for data, message and long distance voice communications.
 IDB WORLDCOM's agreement with Unitel, signed on June 7, 1993, by Stephen Carroll, president of IDB WORLDCOM, and Mike Aysan, vice president, International, of Unitel enables IDB WORLDCOM to provide competitive international telecommunications services to Canada.
 "IDB WORLDCOM is very excited about this new business opportunity with Unitel," said Michael Sauer, vice president, International Relations, for IDB WORLDCOM. "Our agreement further enables us to meet the rapidly expanding global needs of our customers who have communications requirements to and from Canada."
