ICSC trustees honor luminaries.The trustees of the International Council of Shopping Centers The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) is an international trade association of the shopping center industry. The organization, founded in 1957, has 65,000 members worldwide, which include shopping center owners, developers and managers, as well as other individuals, , Inc. The winners were Yvonne Court, Ph.D., partner and head of retail, research and consultancy, European Research Group, Cushman & Wakefield, London, U.K.; the late Robert L. Sorensen, Jr., SCSM SCSM Specific Communication Service Mapping SCSM Senior Certified Shopping Center Manager SCSM Seattle Commission for Sexual Minorities SCSM Standard Communications-Computer Systems Manager SCSM South Charleston Stamping and Machine , former vice president, regional centers, The Irvine Company, Irvine, Calif., and George J. Walsh III, Esq., partner, Thompson Hine LLP LLP - Lower Layer Protocol , New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of , N.Y. The awards, which recognize the special contributions of distinguished leaders in the shopping center industry, are given during ICSC's annual Spring Convention, held last week in Las Vegas. Yvonne Court received the ICSC Distinguished Service Award for her work as a member of the ICSC European Advisory Board and North American Research Advisory Task Force. Sorensen was recognized for his work as chairman of the Certified Shopping Center Manager Committee and Walsh received the award for his work as chairman of ICSC's Law Committee as well as for his work as a faculty member for many of ICSC's educational programs. |
