ICREW's 5th annual golf classic raises $17,000 for hospice.

The ICREW ICREW Improving Coastal and Recreational Waters (Europe)  Golf Classic began in 2001 as a golf clinic for women and in 2003 developed into a clinic and a 9-hole round of golf. In 2005, the golf classic served as a fundraiser, which raised $13,500 for The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital. This year, the outing benefited Saint Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care palliative care (paˑ·lē·ā·tiv kerˑ),
n an approach to health care that is concerned primarily with attending to physical and emotional comfort rather
 Center. As an added bonus, all golfers received free Foot Joy golf shoes, donated by Builder Revenue/US Title Agency, Jarmel Kizel, and J.G. Petrucci Co, as well as a leather shoe bag, donated by Audra Frank Painting.

Saint Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center (SBHPCC) provides care, comfort and support to patients with advanced illness and their families so that they can make the most of the precious time they have together. Located at Monmouth Medical Center and Newark Beth Israel Medical Center Beth Israel Medical Center is a hospital in New York City. It has four major locations providing health services. It acts as University Hospital and Manhattan Campus for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. , SBHPCC provides services to patients in Monmouth, Ocean, Somerset, Middlesex, Union, Essex, Bergen, Morris and Hudson counties.

"I attribute the outing's tremendous success to our wonderful team of volunteers, our generous sponsors and the support of our entire membership. This year's charity, Saint Barnabas, was also particularly close to all of our hearts, because of a personal connection through one of our members. We share a personal satisfaction in having helped such a worthy cause," said co-chair Silvana Finizio.

ICREW is the New Jersey Chapter of the CREW Network, the Network of Commercial Real Estate Women.
