Together with ICP's onboard real time multitasking firmware, RAIDYNE, these controllers provide performance and fault tolerance. There is also a hardware XOR engine for RAID 4/5 operations. The company's controllers can run in 32-Bit and 64-Bit PCI slots. The controllers are PCI 2.2 compliant with bus mastering capabilities.
