"With the CI-9250 system, ICOS now offers a comprehensive line of three-dimensional inspection systems for substrates, sockets and microprocessors, in either a Pin Grid Array or Land Grid Array The land grid array (LGA) is a type of surface-mount packaging used for integrated circuits. It can be electrically connected to a PCB either by the use of a socket or by soldering directly to the PCB.  format," said Anton DeProft, ICOS' president and chief executive officer. "This offering of three-dimensional inspection for Pin Grid Arrays is unique in the industry and further strengthens our market leadership position in the market for inspection equipment for semiconductor packaging."

ICOS Vision Systems is a world-leading supplier of inspection equipment for the semiconductor packaging industry.
