), a world leader in vision solutions, today announced that it will introduce its innovative, gravity-fed Component Inspector, the CI-G10, at the SEMICON Taiwan 2002 trade show.

SEMICON Taiwan will be held in Taipei, Taiwan on September 16, 17 and 18. ICOS will exhibit its G10 Component Inspector and its recently introduced CI-9250/9450 at booth no. 2935.

With the CI-G10, ICOS enters the market of gravity inspection and taping machines. For the first time, ICOS is applying its renowned vision technology to a gravity-fed handler. Compared to previous models that handle components with a pick and place head, the CI-G10 uses gravity to glide components across the ICOS inspection stations. It is a high-speed, high-volume inspection machine capable of handling tube-based 2-sided gull wing This article is about aircraft. For the type of automobile door, see gull-wing door.
