ICN DECLARES SECOND QUARTER DIVIDEND.


ICN Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NYSE: ICN), New York, has announced that its board of directors had declared a 1999 second quarter cash dividend of $0.07 per share. The dividend was payable July 28, 1999 to shareholders of record on July 14, 1999.

The company also said that it has established a dividend reinvestment and stock purchase plan to enable shareholders to purchase additional shares of ICN stock without brokerage commissions or service charges.

"This plan provides a convenient way for our shareholders to increase their ICN holdings and participate in the growth of our company," said Milan Panic, chairman and chief executive officer of ICN.

In addition, ICN has set its annual meeting for September 22, 1999 in New York. Proxy materials will be distributed to shareholders of record on August 10, 1999 during the latter part of August.
