ICM'S WIATT JOINS BOARD OF COUNCILORS AT USC SCHOOL OF CINEMA-TELEVISION

 BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Jim Wiatt, president and chief operating officer of International Creative Management, has been named to the USC School of Cinema-Television's Board of Councilors, an advisory group made up of prestigious figures in the entertainment industry.
 Mr. Wiatt becomes the board's first representative from the talent agency business and is the first person added to its membership since the board was formed in February 1992. He received his bachelor of arts degree from the University of Southern California in 1969.
 Other members of the Board of Councilors include Frank Biondi, Marcy Carsey, Marvin Davis, Barry Diller, David Geffen, Alan Levine, George Lucas, Sidney Poitier, Barney Rosenzweig, Steven Spielberg, Brandon Tartikoff, David Wolper and Robert Zemeckis. Frank Price is the Board's chair.
 With headquarters in Beverly Hills and offices in New York and five other cities around the globe, ICM is a world leader in the representation of talent in the entertainment and literary fields. Among its clients are such superstars as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sharon Stone, Mel Gibson and Julia Roberts.

 After receiving his bachelor of arts degree from USC, Mr. Wiatt served as administrative assistant to former U.S. Senator John V. Tunney (D-Calif.) until 1975.
 He became an agent with the Frank Cooper Agency in 1976 and joined ICM as a literary agent in 1978. He was named head of ICM's Motion Picture Department in 1983 and assumed his current positions as president, chief operating officer and a partner in ICM in 1985.
 In addition to the Board of Councilors at the USC School of Cinema- Television, Mr. Wiatt serves on the boards of Hollywood Supports, the Los Angeles Free Clinic, the Show Coalition and the Sundance Institute.
 The Board of Councilors was formed to advise the School of Cinema- Television in the areas of long-term goals, curriculum and fund-raising. Since its formation, the board has been actively seeking to endow chairs in the school's Cinema and Television departments and to increase the number of women and minorities in its student body.
