ENGLEWOOD, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 18, 1998--ICG Netcom, a leading integrated communications provider (ICP), today announced that both ICG Communications and its wholly owned Internet subsidiary, NETCOM On-Line Communication Services, Inc., have been named to Deloitte & Touche's prestigious "Fast 500" Program, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing U.S. technology companies as published in the Nov. 30 issue of Forbes ASAP.

Netcom ranked 56th overall and 6th in the Silicon Valley's top 50 technology companies. Netcom's ranking was based on an increase in revenues of 6,561 percent over the last five years.

Additionally, companies who were subsidiaries of other corporations were not considered. At the time of review, Netcom was not a subsidiary of ICG Communications.
