ICF International Awarded US$7 Million Contract by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Risk Assessment for Integrated Air Program

FAIRFAX, Va. -- ICF International (Nasdaq:ICFI) announced today that it was awarded a five-year, US$7 million contract with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards (OAQPS). This is the third consecutive time that ICF has been awarded this contract. The firm will provide health and environmental risk assessment support to the Integrated Air Program, including assistance with the National-Scale Air Toxics Assessment (NATA).

The objectives of EPA's criteria pollutant program are focused on setting National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) for widespread pollutants considered harmful to public health and the environment. EPA's air toxics program is focused on reducing the risks associated with hazardous air pollutants listed in the Clean Air Act. ICF's role will include environmental model development, ecological risk assessment, risk assessment methodology development, uncertainty and variability analysis, technical guidance development, and communications and outreach support for the program.
