Investors will select a MarketAxess participating dealer to instantaneously represent their order in the BrokerTec trading system, preserving the counterparty relationships in today's government bond market. The approximately 600 investor firms on MarketAxess will benefit from the benchmark liquidity and multiple order types available in the BrokerTec system. The new U.S. Treasury service will be integrated seamlessly into the existing MarketAxess trading platform and is expected to be launched early in the 3rd quarter of this year, with first phase introduction to U.S. customers and future implementation to European customers.
